The Kitimat Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the Pop-Up Shop Pilot Program.
The program is designed to help home-based businesses test out a storefront space in downtown Kitimat, while also helping bring more activity into vacant commercial spaces. Starting in summer 2026, selected entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to operate in a downtown retail space with no rental fee for one to six months.
Commercial landlords with spaces that have been vacant for at least six months are also encouraged to take part in the program.
