Looking for a meeting space in Kitimat? The Kitimat Chamber of Commerce offers boardroom rentals, and various equipment, for local businesses, organizations, and community groups.

Located at 2109 Forest Avenue, above the Visitor Information Centre, the boardroom is a practical space for meetings, workshops, business training, presentations, and small group sessions. It is often used for business bootcamps and educational workshops.

Terms & Conditions

Parking: Boardroom renters must park on the far side of the building (by the trees) to leave accessible parking open for visitors.

No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in the building. Please use the designated canister outside for cigarette butts.

Recyclables: Use only recyclable paper plates, cups, stir sticks, and similar items. All waste must be sorted into the bins provided:

Paper & cardboard
Plastic & pop cans
Compostables
Garbage

Note: Improper sorting will result in a $25 fine.

Excess Garbage: Non-recyclables must go in the outdoor bear-proof garbage can or be taken to the municipal landfill. We do not have municipal garbage collection.

Before leaving the boardroom, please ensure the following:

Lights are turned off
All windows are closed
Downstairs heat is turned down to the red line
The space is left neat, with furniture returned to its original setup

If two booking times overlap, the newest rental request will be contacted and asked to adjust their rental time accordingly. Any neglect of the terms and conditions will result in a fine being added to your account. The amount of this fine will depend on the violation or damage.
