The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a key event where the Chamber of Commerce welcomes its newly elected Board of Directors—leaders who guide the Chamber's direction and make decisions that support businesses of all sizes in the local community.

Supporting Kitimat

At the AGM, the Chamber highlights achievements from the past year and outlines plans for the future. This includes supporting business growth, engaging with the community, and exploring new solutions—such as leveraging technology and aiding in post-crisis recovery.

It's also an opportunity to showcase collaboration with local leaders and partner organizations to make Kitimat a better place to live and work. The AGM brings the community together in a shared commitment to strengthening local business and building a vibrant, resilient economy.

Introducing the 2025/2026 Board of Directors: A New Era of Growth and Community Impact

We are thrilled to announce the newly appointed Board of Directors for the 2025/2026 term—marking an exciting new chapter in the growth and direction of our organization.

This year’s board consists of 9 dedicated individuals, including six returning members and three new faces. Each brings a unique blend of experience, leadership, and fresh perspective. Together, they represent a wide range of sectors within our community, ensuring our efforts continue to reflect the diverse needs and aspirations of those we serve.

Laurel D'Andrea, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, shared her excitement about the future:

AGM Registration

April 9, 2026 at Luso Lounge, 159 Konigus Street.

Cocktails begin at 5:30 pm and the AGM starts at 6:00 pm.
Dinner is included with registration and includes 1 beverage.
Meal options: Chicken, Pork, or Vegan.

Registration fee: $30. per person (with GST, $31.50)
