In addition to offering boardroom rental, the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce offers affordable rentals of various equipment to support local events, meetings, and community gatherings. 

Note: If someone else has a booking that overlaps with your requested time, we’ll contact you with a few options on how to proceed.

Equipment Rental Request Form

This form helps the Chamber collect the details needed to prepare your equipment rental request. It does not collect payment, confirm availability, or create a final invoice.

Terms & Conditions

Rental fees shown are estimates only. Applicable GST/PST, damage deposits, and any additional fees will be confirmed by Chamber staff before the booking is finalized.

A damage deposit is required at pickup:

• $500 for tents, BBQ, and Trail Rider
• $200 for all other items

 

Requirements of Renting

  • Renter must pick-up and return to the Kitimat Chamber
  • Equipment must be picked up and returned during Chamber business hours
  • Upon pick-up a damage deposit will be requested, even if there is no rental fee
  • Any damages to equipment will result in damage deposit being retained

Picnic Tables

  • Renter is responsible for removing and returning to sea-can
  • Requires two people to move tables
  • Requires a truck bed for transport

Tents

  • Minimum vehicle size – SUV with seats folded down

BBQ

  • Requires two propane tanks. Tanks are not included in rental
  • Requires a truck bed for transport
  • Must be cleaned before returning - $50 cleaning fee applies if it is returned uncleaned

Confirmation

Before submitting, please confirm that you understand:

• Equipment must be picked up and returned during Chamber business hours.
• A damage deposit is required at pickup.
• The renter is responsible for returning equipment in good condition.
• Any damage may result in the damage deposit being retained.
• This request does not confirm availability or collect payment.

Rental Fee Estimate

Estimated rental fees are shown for reference only and do not include GST/PST. A 12% tax will be applied to the final invoice. This form does not collect payment or confirm availability.
