Kitimat Night Market is an open-air market held on Friday evenings during the summer months of June through August. The courtyard is filled with local artisans, small home-based businesses, food vendors, and live music, creating a lively and welcoming community atmosphere. The market runs from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM behind the Kitimat Museum & Archives.

There is no cost for the public to attend. Vendors who wish to participate must register and pay the vendor fee.

Vendors must complete the form below to register for the 2026 Night Market season.

The Night Market runs from June 12 to August 28, 2026. Please note that market dates are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a date is full, it will no longer appear as an option on the registration form.

Chamber members: $10 + GST
Non-chamber members: $20 + GST

Note: Limited Season Pass (12 Dates): $200+tax.

Disclaimer

• You will receive an email the Wednesday before the market telling you the rules and what spot you will be in that week.

• Please note we want everyone checking in with staff BEFORE they set up. This will help to keep the cohesiveness of the market.

• Vehicles CANNOT be driven into the market area. We ask that you unload in the Pedros/Trigos parking lot or in front of the museum.

• Please unload all your stuff into your market spot first and then move your vehicle to a permanent parking spot before setting up your booth. This helps everyone to be able to load in more easily.

• Set up starts are 3:00pm.

• All Vendors must be on site by 4:00pm and setting up to be ready for 4:30pm. If you are not on site by 4:00pm you risk losing your spot. If you are not on site before 4:30pm you will not be allowed to set up.

• Take down begins at 8:00pm please DO NOT start taking down anytime before.

Cancellation Policy:

• A cancellation notice must be made by email to tourism@KitimatChamber.ca

• All markets are rain or shine events.

• Once registered and paid, vendor participation is confirmed.

• Every vendor (full season or day) must give 48 hours’ notice (2 days) for market cancellation. Vendors who cancels will be charged $5 processing fees

• Date changes can be done via the market organizer, if there is space available for the other date requested.

• Refund requests made less 48 hours of the market date will not be eligible for a refund.

• If cancellations become a recurring issue, please be aware that it may affect your eligibility for future market participation.
