Home-based businesses are also encouraged to apply, provided they meet program eligibility requirements.
As part of the initiative, the Chamber will host a series of information sessions throughout the year to help businesses better understand funding opportunities, explore eligible projects, and maximize the impact of their rebate. Dates for the information sessions will be posted on the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce website and posted in their weekly e-blasts.
The LNG Canada Business Growth Fund reflects a continued investment in strengthening Kitimat’s local business community, encouraging innovation, and helping businesses prepare for future opportunities.
“Supporting local businesses is key to building a strong and resilient community,” says Amy Pike, Community Liaison Officer, LNG Canada. “Through the LNG Canada Business Growth Fund, we’re proud to work alongside the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce to help local businesses invest in their ideas, strengthen their operations, and position themselves for long-term success. We want to see local businesses not only grow but truly thrive as part of Kitimat’s evolving economy.”
