Founded in 1988, the Kitimat Marine Rescue Society (RCM SAR 63) is a volunteer, non-profit organization of the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue.
They provide 24/7, 365 days a year marine rescue and first aid to all those in distress on the Douglas Channel and adjacent waters.
Their highly skilled volunteers are hard working individuals who have come together out of the love of the sea and a desire to be of service to their community.
