The Haisla Nation is the band government of the Haisla people. Their mission is to build a powerful, prosperous and proud community; healthy in mind, body and spirit.
The Haisla people have occupied lands for over 9,000 years, within the traditional territory situated along the Douglas Channel region. Today, the Haisla Nation is centered in the community of Kitamaat Village on the North Coast of British Columbia.
They believe in building a strong and thriving community, with healthy and happy members and a sustained and prosperous environment.
