How the Judging Process Works
All nominations will be evaluated by a panel of community members, and a few members of the Chamber board
To ensure fairness and integrity, Chamber staff are not involved in the scoring or selection of winners. We will have the judges visit the 3 finalists in each category to help decide the winner.
Category Placement Disclaimer
The Kitimat Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to reassign a nominee to a different award category if it’s determined that the nomination better aligns with alternate category criteria. This ensures that each nomination is evaluated in the most appropriate context and gives all nominees the best opportunity for recognition.
