Celebrating 70 years!
A huge thank-you to everyone who helped organize and set up this annual event celebrating Kitimat’s incredible business community.
While the awards recognize individual sectors, one thing is clear: Kitimat shines brightest when we work together.
Congratulations to all the winners, and we’ll see you at the 2026 Business Excellence Awards!
All nominations will be evaluated by a panel of community members, and a few members of the Chamber board
To ensure fairness and integrity, Chamber staff are not involved in the scoring or selection of winners. We will have the judges visit the 3 finalists in each category to help decide the winner.
Category Placement Disclaimer
The Kitimat Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to reassign a nominee to a different award category if it’s determined that the nomination better aligns with alternate category criteria. This ensures that each nomination is evaluated in the most appropriate context and gives all nominees the best opportunity for recognition.
People's Choice Award
This one will be voted on by the community on the Chamber site
The BEA Awards will be happening at the Royal Canadian Legion with cocktails starting at 5 pm, appies at 6 pm, and winners announced at 6:15 pm. Tickets are $50 + GST
When you vote, you’ll be entered to win 2 tickets to the BEA and get the chance to present the People’s Choice Award live at the event.
Let’s come together to celebrate the amazing businesses that make Kitimat thrive. Good luck to all the finalists!
