Surrounded by some of the most stunning mountain scenery in the province, the Hirsch Creek Golf & Winter Club is home to an extremely challenging superbly designed 18 hole, par 72, championship golf course. The Club and Pro Shop offers professional knowledge and expertise, practice greens, driving range and rentals (golf equipment, motorized and pull carts).
The golf course is comprised of and recognized for its competitive and diverse design, and presents a memorable round for both beginner and experienced golfers. The beautiful front 9, designed by Les Furber, winds its way through the wilderness, to create outstanding views from tee boxes and fairways. The back 9 is an established layout that allowed nature to form a more traditional golf experience.
The breath-taking views from the restaurant and lounge are set amongst some of the most scenic views in Northern BC. The club has a 130 seat licensed clubhouse and deck, along with the private Northern Gateway meeting / dining room that can accommodate up to 36 people. The raised sundeck at the front of the clubhouse is the perfect place to relax over a drink or a meal and soak in the sunshine after a round of golf.
When the thermometer dips, try your hand on the four sheet curling rink, which has long been a regional favorite where players of all ages and skill levels enjoy the varied programs and schedules. Friday nights are open for “Public Drop In” and gives new curlers the chance to try out the sport and develop skills. The Friday night sessions are also an opportunity for league players to perfect their skills, families to try curling together and young people to try something new.
The facilities at the Hirsch Creek Golf & Winter Club are available to members, guests, general public, businesses, organizations and charities, based on availability.
