How the Forum Will Work

To ensure that the discussion covers a broad range of issues and that candidates are responding to the questions directly, candidates will not see the questions in advance.

During the forum, each candidate will choose a category they would like to speak to, they can’t pick the same category twice. Then they will pick a question number from that category. The corresponding question will then be presented to the candidates.

Each candidate will be given:

  • 1 minute for their introduction
  • 1 minute and 30 seconds to respond to each question – 3 questions each
  • 1 minute for their final comments

At the very end of the event, each candidate will receive a copy of all the questions submitted. This will give candidates the opportunity to choose to answer additional questions through their own social media platforms, should they wish to do so.

Thank you again to everyone who took the time to participate. Your questions will help shape an important conversation about the future of Kitimat.
